For 2016 we launched the World Precision Medicine Congress alongside the 11th annual World Stem Cells & Regenerative Medicine Congress in London.
As we worked to put together the programme on precision medicine, we asked industry- and thought-leading professionals who were looking to attend, what they needed from this Congress. They said that it needed to:
• Bring together industry, healthcare and academia from across the variety of disciplines included under the precision medicine umbrella
• Bring together the global community
• Focus on a multitude of omics, disease areas and solutions
2016 brought all that together and 2017 will bring all this and more!
In 2017, the programme will first of all be expanded to run over 3 days and across 2 streams. This will enable separate days focussing on cancer, rare diseases, infectious diseases and other complex conditions. The extended programme will also allow for more in-depth coverage of those pertinent topics that are not disease-specific: Data and services, diagnostics and e-health, infrastructure and investment.
Feedback on the topic of precision medicine has always been that networking and bringing together the different expertise areas is crucial for the sector to be successful. Whether you refer to it as precision, personalised or stratified medicine, one thing remains clear, there is so much expertise in this area globally that is offering patients, often those where there are no other treatment options remaining, a lot of hope and potential. Whether you are in pathology or proteomics, data or diagnostics, bioinformatics or biomarkers, World Precision Medicine Congress is the market place to meet, discuss and ultimately do business in this exciting and prosperous space.
Along with the expanded and rebranded World Advanced Therapies & Regenerative Medicine Congress (formerly World Stem Cells & Regenerative Medicine Congress) and Cord Blood World Europe, 2017 will welcome 250+ speakers across the 3 days enabling networking opportunities with over 1000 leading industry professionals. With that in mind, we look forward to welcoming you to London in May 2017: 17th – 19th.
