Buongiorno Milan, Refresh is coming your way. So get on that Meetup page and join in the fun!

You may think of fashion and Ferraris when you consider Milan, but it is coming up fast on the list of hot spots for the biotech industry. It’s home to some world-class research universities as well as some pretty cool biotechs such as MolMed, EryDel, Genenta, and Newron. We are inviting you to join us and the rest of the Milano biotech gang for a relaxed biotech meetup on the 11th April 2018 at 6:30 pm. This time the focus will be on immuno-oncology and CAR-T. Get ready to meet some great people, listen to some awesome speakers, and enjoy some free beer. Speakers

Our first speaker is Riccardo Palmisano, CEO MolMed. Riccardo has moved around with some pretty impressive companies! Currently, he is leading the charge of MolMed, one of the most important biotechs in Italy, which focuses on gene and cell therapies. Having joined Genzyme Italy in 2005 as managing director, Riccardo held the position of Executive Vice President of Sanofi Italy. Prior to that, he was the vice president of commercial retail in GSK, where he managed the reorganization of sales, marketing, and distribution, as well as relaunching the company’s commercial activities.

Our second speaker is Graziano Seghezzi, Managing Partner at Sofinnova. After starting his career off as a biomedical researcher, Graziano has gone on to Sofinnova to invest and be on the board of a whole lot of companies, such as Creabilis Therapeutics, Crescendo Biologics, Hookipa Biotech, and many many more. That makes him one of the best biotech venture capitalists in Europe. Graziano will give us a broader perspective on the Italian biotech ecosystem and how it first came into Europe.

Remember to leave your tie/blazers at home so you can chill out and be a biotech nerd in comfort.

To reserve yourself a spot, subscribe to our Meetup page and click attending. You can also add a plus one (or two) if you have a nice friend 😉 Spaces fill up really fast so you have to get in quick.
